Medical Services

Residential nursing includes some sites with 24-hour LPN and RN staffing where we support people with complex health care needs.

The nursing staff works closely with each program and the families to monitor the medical needs, current medications and treatments, and compiling and updating lifetime medical histories on individuals.

Lexington also contracts with physicians, psychiatrists and other health care practitioners to supplement and oversee the medical care for individuals in the residential program as well as in the Clinic.

"The nurse helps me with my medications every day.  She is a very good nurse and is always so nice to me.  She does a great job taking care of me if I get sick."

 Tom,  pre-vocational program

Lexington’s medical services include nursing services for residential and day programs, 24-hour on call nursing, and nursing health counseling through our Article 16 Clinic.
