Lexington, one of the best programs of its kind in New York
State, provides the following to children and adults who are disabled:

Services |

housing for children and adults who are developmentally disabled, mentally ill, or
traumatically brain injured. Residential options
include:
- IRAs
- Supported Apartments
- A special residence is provided for elderly frail and/or
medically fragile persons with a developmental disability.

Lexington
Family Services Helping families in Fulton County
who are caring for a child or adult who is developmentally disabled through a wide variety
of services. Some examples are Respite, Recreation, Advocacy and Support.

Recreation
Recreation is provided for
children and adults enrolled in other Lexington Services.
Transportation
Transportation is provided for
Lexington programs to children and adults who are disabled. Special transportation
is provided for persons who are severely physically disabled. Lexington also
provides special transportation for persons who are mentally ill to support program in
Fulton and Montgomery Counties.

for non-disabled Individuals |

- Meals for Seniors
Through a
contract with the Fulton County Office for Aging,
Lexington prepares and delivers meals for the Senior Meals Program in Fulton and
Montgomery Counties.
Employment Resources
Provides Job
Readiness, Life Skills Training, Worksite Placement, Job Placement and Retention through
contracts with the New York State Department of Labor, Fulton County Department of Social
Services and Montgomery County Department of Social Services. |
